After using my Cybersonic electric toothbrush for more than ten years, the handle of the original toothbrush started to break. It's great to be able to replace this main part of my "sonic" toothbrush system for less than the price of a complete system. The handle of my first Cybersonic was partially made of a rubbery material, and that material dissolved and rendered it unusable. Made entirely of hard plastic, I believe this pen should last even longer than my first one. However, this adds a little extra weight to the item.
