I recently bought a cheap Victrola record player with speakers. Most of the vocals were distorted and tinny. I replaced the pickup with this one and the sound improved immediately. There is no longer the hard tone that was before. I had to trim the rear tab with a utility knife to fit the cartridge holder, but it only took a few seconds. I highly recommend this product.
