I stated with a Magellan pillow that got wet on the Azalea Trail because it was too big to fit in my rucksack. After finishing another night with a camp pillow, it went to the trash. After that I upgraded to the smaller Field and Stream pillow, however the padding clumps up and was kinda worthless. In an effort to upgrade again I decided to give this one a try. Well it arrived this morning and the timing was great because I got rear-ended on the way home today. I opened it up and was initially impressed with the size. I did have some concern when I ordered it that it may feel hot or have a sweaty plastic feel. However, it has a felt texture and didn't get gross after passing out on the couch with it the past few hours. I'm 6'2" 215lbs and like a decent size firm pillow and this seemed to work well without feeling my head sink. I'm planning a 3 night hike soon so I did fold and mash it a bit to test durability and it seemed fine. For the weight, cost, and size; it seems a solid purchase.
