Review on MOUNTUP Adjustable Computer Mounting 4 4 17 6Lbs by Charles Quinones

Installation went great at first. The parts felt solid and fit together well. The final step was to tighten the thumbscrews to hold the monitors in place, and then tighten the adjustment screw once you've achieved your desired monitor tilt. I double checked to make sure it is NOT crossed and it is not. Both monitor mounting points just weren't tight enough. Then I had to tighten the monitor's tilt screws (which are already there, so it wouldn't be my fault if they were cross-threaded). A few turns and suddenly the screw stops resisting, feels loose and won't tighten. I pull him out and see that he was undressed like in the picture! I think it's a bad screw, unscrew the other one and see that the screw is intact and the other fastener is tight. I change the screw to see and the same thing. The threads in the bracket itself will shear the bolts and interfere with tightening. I have asked for a replacement but at the moment I have little hope.
