I bought these headphones because they didn't have a long hard extension coming out of the earcup. I use in-ear headphones under a motorcycle helmet and under earmuffs. Longer extensions tend to put pressure on the ear and become painful after a while. They didn't have long extensions. I've only used one pair of headphones so far. They worked well, but the quality of the song was satisfactory. Listed as a budget item for kids in the classroom, I wasn't surprised that the sound quality wasn't great.
