After finding the right programming guide everything worked like clockwork. Here is the guide for my 2004 Tundra DC Limited1. the driver's door is only open and unlocked 2. Insert the key in the ignition lock and remove it (do not turn the key)3. With the driver's door open, perform 5 lock/unlock cycles (lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock, unlock)4. Close driver's door and then open5. With the driver's door open, perform 5 lock/unlock cycles (lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock, unlock)6. Insert key, set to ON (do not start engine), set to OFF. Without removing the key, turn it to the ON position (do not start the engine), turn it to the Off position.7. Remove the key from the ignition lock8. The doors should now automatically lock/unlock twice to indicate that programming mode is activated9. On a new fob, press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 1 second10. Press and hold the LOCK button for 2 seconds to program the fob and generate a lock/unlock cycle on the door to confirm the remote has been programmed. Ready
