Review on πŸ”† Lamsky Dimmable LED Bulb: Microwave Daylight Equivalent by Djuan Thompson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

That's a lightbulb. It works.

Oddly enough, the "bulb" of this light bulb is actually a rubber mold surrounding the LED blocks. The 6000K color temperature is nice and gives a more sterile, cleaner look that I think works well in a kitchen. It's also nice to swap out a 40-watt halogen bulb, which gets very hot, for a 3.5-watt incandescent bulb that never gets hot. You can leave this on day and night for a year and it will add less than a dollar to your electric bill. And while it may have more to do with my microwave or outlet than the lightbulb, in this setting I do notice a slight flicker when I press the button on my microwave to dim the light. That said, subtracting a star isn't as obvious or distracting, especially since I almost always use it at a brighter setting. Besides, I mean. it's a lightbulb. If you need to change the lightbulb under your microwave, this will get the job done.
