Got this on a Cyber Monday deal because I needed a topper with a new LED connector instead of a plug. It arrived fairly quickly which was nice but you get what you pay for. I plugged it in and it worked, but by default it flashes rapidly, which is off-putting. You have to go through almost every setting to get to the one where it's currently enabled. I removed the adapter from the plug to connect it (daisy chain) to my LED lights and that's where it went sideways. It connected well but the lights on my tree went out and the tip didn't light up. I have two strings that are connected separately so I tried connecting them to the second and encountered the same problem. The cord was long enough to use a plug next to a tree and I confirmed that it still worked - it just couldn't be chained to my new LED tree lights. This whole situation seems very strange and the topper didn't impress me so it's being sent back. I ended up just putting my old topper on the tree and running the twine down my back. If I had to do that with a new one, I might as well put one I like and don't care about.
