Tailor's water-soluble gel marker
This pen is ideal for marking dark fabrics. I used it to mark quilt patterns and it was perfect. At first I thought it wasn't working because I couldn't see the labels. Literally after a while, tracks began to appear. They wash off easily. I've used purple pencils for years, which fade in air or water, but they don't work well with dark or printed fabrics, so white pencils were a great find.
