GREAT FIND! Easily replaces the original remote
I bought this to replace the remote that came with my fan. I was keen to insert a traditional remote unit into the fan base (without removing the entire fan). This remote unit is about half the size of a "standard" unit, so it was relatively easy to install without having to remove the entire fan. It has been installed for several months and works great.
