it did what it was supposed to do but you had to make some changes to get it set up: Okay I just got in touch with Sharp customer service about this issue. 1) You need to unplug the TV for a full minute and also remove the batteries from the remote control (this will restart the system). still disconnected 3) After 30 seconds, replace the batteries, then press each button on the remote starting with the power button, in left-to-right, top-to-bottom order (just like you read) 4) Close Then turn the TV back on and try the remote control again. . and the remote control and TV should sync again. Let me tell you I thought the lady was crazy when she told me this but it worked!
