Review on 📷 Panasonic HDC-SD90K 3D-Compatible SD Memory Camcorder (Black) - Discontinued Model by Justin Hill

I bought this camera on February 18, 2012 and have been experimenting with it. Makes fantastic videos even (especially) in low light conditions. You won't regret it with this camera. I did a lot of research before buying this camera. I ended up buying a refurbished SD90k. Connects to a PC via a USB port and transfers videos easily. Simple user interface. The touch screen works wonderfully. It took me about a day to study and become familiar with the entire menu. Very easy to navigate. Fantastic sound from the built-in microphone. Connects to an HDTV via the camera's mini HDMI port and displays amazing HD video from the camera on the HDTV. The battery seems to last a lifetime. The zoom is incredible. The stabilizer arm (an extra feature you get) works really well with the zoom if you zoom too far and it shakes that much. Touch the stabilizer handle and it holds up well. Seriously, you won't be disappointed if you buy it. I am very happy that I bought it. The photos he takes are pretty good too. I took pictures with him and posted them for some of the things I have sold on ebay and was very happy with the pictures. You really don't even need a camera if you have an SD90k. Cons: The editing software they release is extremely limited. There is no trendy cinema. Simply cut and drop the clip onto the film line to create a film as a file, DVD, or upload it to the web or your smartphone. It's amazing HD though. The record button is in an awkward place. (on the right rear back) Should be on top of the camera where your fingers spend most of their time, not on the back where average hands (like mine) have to bend their thumb to get to the record button, sometimes I can can't bend my thumb enough to press the button because my hand and fingers are too long. Not so great an inconvenience to dissuade you from buying it. It's small, light, and feels cheap, but it's the quality inside that counts. What I don't like is the glossy surface. Leaves fingerprints and such. I would prefer a flat surface. Overall I would give this camera a 99% rating. It makes an amazing video.
