Just received this a few weeks ago, took some pictures at home at night in low light and got good results. Did "interview" in good lighting and the quality was excellent. You could see the type of fabric on the chair and the detail in the wallpaper behind it. I've had quite a bit of time to play with my new toy, hdc-sd90k, and so far so good. Fantastic zoom, low light LED is great for shooting in the dark, love the size of the LCD screen. I couldn't believe how small this camera was, I have an old digital camera that is bigger and heavier than this video camera. I'll update this review in a few weeks after having time to play around with the camera features. I would buy it without hesitation. Keep in mind that you'll also need to buy an SDHC or SDXC

Bought this as a Christmas present for family and I'm still very happy with it. It's surprisingly small, lightweight, and very easy to use; The zoom is quick and intuitive, and the focus is pretty fluid even when I'm moving the camera trying to capture the action on the rink. I had a TM700 then I switched it to SD600, they are almost the same in the main parts, both 3Mos systems and produce the same video quality. I had some doubts before buying this SD90 but am pleasantly surprised. I bought this camera on February 18, 2012 and have been experimenting with it. Makes fantastic videos even (especially) in low light conditions. You won't regret it with this camera. I did a lot of research before buying this camera. I ended up buying a refurbished SD90k. Connects to a PC via a USB port and transfers videos easily. Simple user interface. The touch screen works wonderfully. It took me about a day to study and become familiar with the entire menu. Very easy to navigate. Fantastic
