This set of 12 elastics only has one "good" elastic which I like to use. I've attached a photo of a good one on my wrist and a comparison between a good one and another from this group. The material is thicker and softer than others, and the stripe on the inside feels more durable. Other hair ties can be used but I really don't like them. The material is a little scratchy, not soft, and the stripe inside is much smaller in width and size. I'm not sure why there is such a difference between this one and the others, but be aware that there can be quite a significant difference in quality when it comes to packaging. Overall I would not buy again.
