Adds volume and emphasized bass to the TV. HDMI Support ARC

I have a Sonos Playbar, a $700 speaker that adds quite a bit of power and volume to our existing Samsung TV. My brother also wanted to get one for his TV but didn't want to spend as much as I did. So I helped him find a soundbar that: 1. Offers volume and good bass2. Can be used easily 3. Can be connected via HDMI ARC, Optical, Bluetooth and/or RCA4. It is cheap. This soundbar features a 3.5mm audio jack, optical RCA jack, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI ARC (to control your TV with a remote control) and USB. Remote control included. Interesting (and possibly disturbing) is the LED that lights up behind the bars. Sound quality was good (but nowhere near as good as Sonos), separately powered subwoofer bass was better than expected, and Bluetooth response had minimal latency with no cracking (tested with iPad music playback). PROS β€” Inexpensive β€” Good sound quality and volume β€” Great bass thanks to separately powered subwoofer β€” Fairly easy to use β€” Variety of input methods, particularly HDMI ARC and optical β€” Looks acceptable, not out of place when placed under a TV β€” Very lightweight β€” Fairly thin β€” Mounting hardware and cable included CONS - Manual was sparse - Not as loud as the $700 Sonos Playbar - Soundbar starts to distort slightly at higher volumes. Overall, these speakers serve to boost the volume for my brother's TV while adding surprisingly good bass. I personally wouldn't use it for myself as the Sonos Playbar ruined me, but at 1/6 the price this soundbar/subwoofer combo is good value.
