My husband suggested I buy them for the whole family to have fun. Although initially skeptical I found 4 packs of walkie talkies and figured I'd see what happens. You need AAA batteries, so we bought some rechargeable batteries for that. What I found cool about them is that they come with a fully functional headpiece and there is a button on the cord that mutes the sound in case you don't want to be heard. Another thing I found very handy is the clip that can be detached so you can insert the batteries much easier. Really handy if you need to remove them too. The signal on them is clear, but as soon as you start going out of range there are small noises to help you understand that you are out of range. What I thought was a waste of time was actually a lot of fun. Luckily we bought batteries because we use them almost every day.
