Perfect for New York weather when temperatures drop below 40°C. I just have to wear a long sleeve shirt. underneath because it keeps you warm and there is no need for multiple layers like I did with my old coat. I love this coat! I originally bought a size XL because I'm currently 183lbs at 5ft 4in but then it turned out to be too big so I switched back to a size L and it fits perfectly with just the right amount in place. I would say this coat is best for extremely cold weather but on days with temperatures above 40c I wear a slightly lighter coat but anything below that is GO TO. However, if you get cold easily, definitely take this :).
