Review on Philips SHE7000BK 28 Ear Headphones by Jessica Ortega

Not impressed - Headphones

I tested these Philips in-ear headphones with my iPhone and iPod. Let's start with the good.1. I liked that the product has three headphone sizes. It's nice to have a choice as one size doesn't fit all and they were very easy to swap out when changing size.2. The length of the cable was nice too - you never felt like you couldn't put your device down and feel the cable being tugged. And now it's not so good. 1. The earbuds are made of silicone. I placed one of the earbuds on a tissue while resizing and lint got stuck to it. If you've ever had anything stick to silicone, you know that it's not the easiest material to clean, especially linty material. I didn't care about the feel of the earbuds - they felt like the tight earbuds you use when swimming, and while blocking outside noise with headphones is always good, the way outside noise was handled was a little odd.3. The cable gets tangled quite easily. Even unpacking was a chore.4. The sound you get with these headphones is just so-so. The manufacturer advertises juicy bass when using these headphones, but they weren't juicy at all. The music had a thin, tinny sound. The sound quality is much better with the headphones that came with my iPhone, which isn't saying much. If you're looking for headphones with adjustable ear tips, especially if you have very small ears, these will suffice. But if you want punchy bass and pretty good sound I'd look elsewhere.
