This was an upgrade from the smaller Helmer module so the power and speaker wires were already present. However, for this device I had to enlarge the hole in the wall. I installed the device (2 power connectors, 4 speaker connectors and an antenna). When switched on, the device caught fire. However, at maximum volume, I was only able to get the tiniest amount of sound out of the speakers (e.g. under a whisper). I reinstalled all connections with no better result. Bad out of the box! I sent the block back for exchange. The second block did not turn on at all. Keep in mind I am tied to a hole in my wall which is why I ordered a 3rd unit. Installed today, works great. Either these devices have quality control issues or I am the unhappiest person on the planet and they sent me the only 2 bad devices they have. You decide.
