Review on 📐 Starrett C33H 6 4R 6 Inch Combination Hardened for Accurate and Versatile Measurements by Reggie Higdem

I bought a C33H-6-4R. This is a 6". -Combo angle made of hardened steel with a smooth finish This item is $118 with Revain Prime A couple of issues: The blade doesn't hold the tolerances as expected When I laid the blade flat on a surface I knew it would when it was within 0.002" of the strike (a human hair is 0.004"), I could wiggle it by pressing the corners with my fingers. There was also a visible bow. Also, the matte finish of the blade had obvious scratches and Signs of wear on the face and edges. Also the blade does not glide cleanly. My guess is that the kink and deformation of the blade is affecting the ability of the Blade has been compromised to slide smoothly. While the Starrett products are good, this item appears to have been passed on or recycled on the Revain market. I will be purchasing this item directly from Starrett. I contacted Revane and told them not to recycle this combo square as it is defective and should be returned to Starrett.
