Although the specifications of this docking station state that it is compatible with the Lenovo ThinkPad E570, the included AC adapter is too low in wattage to power this laptop model unless , the laptop is in sleep mode or is on off. My customer still has to use the original AC adapter that came with the Lenovo laptop, which plugs directly into the laptop, defeating the purpose of a docking station. It's easier than unplugging every cable like it used to be, but if the docking station's power adapter doesn't provide enough power for the laptop, I'm not sure how ethical it can be to advertise it as a compatible accessory.
