Review on Hankook Tire Winter i*Pike RS2 W429 185/65 R15 92T by Adam Orlowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the quality is good and the price is reasonable.

I am writing to you from Siberia, where there is already snow, ice, and porridge. I have tested the tire's performance on all of these different terrains. To begin, the unfavorable experience of utilizing the winter Hankook was in the year 2022; consequently, following that point, I took just the wheels of the Finnish corporation for the winter))) Haku 5.7, but Nordman 7 was used the year before due. Khaki 7 was gone. This time I decided to choose between Continental and Khankuk (I didn't like Nordman, but in order to get a set of 8.9 khaki in my size, I had to spend between 48,000 and 60,000). When compared to German ones (of a different size), the Konti in my size were not very good (the sidewall is extremely soft, and the rubber itself is somewhat firm and appears like a Deshman summer one; it's shiny, and the lamellas are quite difficult to dissociate). The toad accomplished its mission, and for 31,000 dollars, a set of tires manufactured in Korea was acquired. I changed my shoes when the temperature was between +5 and +8 degrees, I rolled it on dry asphalt, and after jogging for approximately 500 kilometers, I was extremely happy that I purchased these wheels. The rubber is really quiet for such a large number of spikes. This is the quietest spike I have ever rode; there is still some noise, but it is noticeably less than what I experienced with Khaki5,7 and Nordman. Even with a profile of 55 and a pressure of 2.4, the rubber roll started to rebuild itself and make turns when exposed to temperatures that were positive. However, this was compensated for by the ease of movement provided by rubber, which rendered joints, crossings, and other minor defects nearly undetectable. When the temperature dropped, the valency disappeared, or perhaps I became more careful. These days, I try to take things more slowly, and during the winter months, I don't play chess at all. Now for the depressing part: I don't know under what conditions the tests are being conducted, but on the very first ice I realized that I could easily leave the track if I exceeded the speed limit, and on icy asphalt I can't stop as quickly as on the seventh Jacque, and the fact that Hankuk hasn't far gone in terms of safety on the winter road since 2022. I'm not sure what the situation is. It seems like it's getting stuck in the snow, but there haven't been any significant snowfalls so far, and since I have all-wheel drive, I'm not really concerned about this issue. If I knew all of this information, would I still buy this rubber? To be more accurate, the answer is yes, there are no other options for this amount of money, and Nordman is inferior.

Pros
  • Quietest winter stud I've ridden
Cons
  • On the snowy pavement, we anticipated a stronger grip.
