I use them to store beads. I have many different styles as I am involved in jewelry making and vintage costume jewelry making so I have a wide range of materials to choose from. I use these boxes for 3/4/5mm beads. The compartments are a bit fiddly to set up, but great when in place. I group my beads by color so this 6 pack is perfect for me. The only thing I will say is that out of 6 containers, 4 latches are tightly closed, 2 are hanging out. it looks like like it has to do with the plastic on the box that's supposed to snap in place with a blue latch. Two boxes will not allow the blue plastic clasp to snap into place because the plastic on the box is not long enough for the blue clasp to close but not close. Of course, this makes it possible to have beads all over the place in case you accidentally drop the box. However, for my needs, they are GREAT. I have ordered a second set.
