This is a real Sony PS4 controller. I was almost 4 years on my controller in just one year and then I started having issues with my games spinning or moving to the left every few seconds. It was because of how much I played and used my original controller. Now I have a new one. and I am proud to say that it works exactly as you expect. Make sure you get some kind of fake in the secondary market. This is the genuine offer I was sent and the price left me with a smile. I am very happy with my purchase. Edit my last review. Give 4 stars instead of 5. Now I think I understand why so many people are so critical of this controller. Just a few days after submitting my review, I had the same issue with my NEW controller. Only instead of my games moving or going LEFT (old controller) it now moves FORWARD (new controller) without me touching the joystick. I have ONLY had a new controller for 1 month but now I'm wondering if this controller is actually a refurbished or (refurbished) unit being sold as NEW. I have no issues with any of the other buttons or with the battery life (holds a charge well). It's a pity that I have to change my original rating. But now I can only give 4 stars.
