Clean and modern - works great.
I bought this to blend with some mid-century modern items in my kitchen, and it does. The white hands on dark wood are a nice contrast, and I like that the second hand moves in a smooth arc around the clock (instead of bumping forward one second at a time) - that in itself gives a modern feel. Since they are basically cut-out from the wood, the numbers can be hard to read, depending on your wall color and the lighting situation.
- Packaged well, looks good and tells accurate time. Love it that its silent. No tic toc sounds
- The clock's numbers might not be as clear or easy to read as those of other clocks
