As the Covid-19 pandemic rages on I like taking my temperature frequently and wanted it to be easy and I didn't have to clean my digital oral thermometer every time I use it. I like its shape and the ease of use of the buttons. You just hold it about an inch from your forehead and press a button and after a second or a few seconds it will beep and take your temperature without touching your skin. I love that it has a nice, fairly large LCD color screen that changes color based on your temperature. With a single press of the temperature button it will start glowing red, then bring it to your forehead and press the button again and it will either turn green in the normal temperature range, amber for a moderate temperature range or red if you have a high temperature. The screen displays the actual temperature in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. It has a mute feature, a last temperature mode on startup, and stores up to 15 previous readings that you can scroll through to see your temperature changes. I also like that it uses 2 AAA batteries which are included. This makes it easier to replace batteries with regular batteries. It also comes with a really nice velvet pouch with nice drawstrings with plastic balls on the ends for easy storage. Seems to be fairly accurate within the desired range plus or minus a few degrees. It also has another mode to measure the temperature of walls, windows, heaters, air conditioners, etc. For the price, this is the best full-featured non-contact digital thermometer out there.
