This blue toothbrush sterilizer does a great job of sterilizing and storing your electric toothbrush head. However, I ordered it for my husband's oscillating oral B and it didn't fit. Although the 2 pads that hold the head in place are adjustable, the head itself does not allow the device to be closed. He's not even that big. So this is a disappointment. I have previously ordered a different brand for myself so we swapped it out and it matches his brush head. So don't think it's a one-size-fits-all device. So, the device is a soft blue color, makes a slight buzz while in use (not annoying, but you can hear it in a quiet room) and has a bright light that you can see through the cracks. The light hurts your eyes when you look at it up close. Does not overheat due to the internal fan. It will not open during use and will turn off automatically after use, so you can install and forget. Very convenient sterilized brush whenever I need it. There is no power switch. As soon as you close it, the cycle begins. This means you're wasting your battery if you close while brushing. So make sure you're done with the brush, otherwise you'll end up sterilizing a lot or just disinfecting an empty compartment. All in all a good article if like me you are a germ phobia.
