Good product at a good price

I was worried it might be a cheap, flimsy product but it looks good and is looking good so far. For example, I made a hole in the corner of the flexible silicone to attach to my stuffed keychain that barely fits in my tight stuffed pockets. There is no sign of breakage at the hole. (You may not need to drill a hole in your key like I did since your key probably already has a solid metal hole in it. Bottom line, it's nice and solid.) The finish on the silicone actually looks like chrome - like real chrome on original key. While he's held out for a few months, we'll see. And it was one of the cheapest options I've found on Revain. . It seemed to help, but it still happens. This is how the hyper-sensitive Mercedes trunk button worked when the key fob was in the pocket, and even when it was attached to a jeans belt. I think that's a big disadvantage, no other car I've had has done that. Worse, these Mercedes have another terrible flaw. If the trunk opens in the rain, even a small amount of water falling on the floor of your trunk will destroy the computer system stupidly lying on the floor of your trunk. Because of this, your car will not start and will cost at least $1,000 to repair. Big disadvantage of Mercedes. Why put sensitive electronics that are essential to the operation of the car in the trunk without protection from water and in a place where they can get wet from the rain? This is not a disadvantage of this key cover. This is actually an issue that the button cover helps somewhat with solving. I ended up finding that I needed to take my keys out of my pocket or belt loop as often as possible. This means I can forget my keys and have to go back to get them. Pooh. Also, the top of the Mercedes key fob is held in place by a relatively thin plastic clip and tiny spring. They can easily break when changing the battery in the key. In this case you will not have a hole to attach the keychain to your keychain. You'll either need to buy a new key fob or get a key fob cover strong enough to attach to your keychain.
