We bought an Ideal Pets X-Lrg Dog Flap a few years ago. We loved this door - magnets on the bottom and sides that never flapped in a snow storm in Colorado and didn't let mice in. After about 5 ½ years we needed new doors. Went online to get them - no longer available but a 'new and improved version' was available with easy to find replacement valves. Okay, bought a new dog flap and have regretted it ever since. The flaps are weak, just the bottom magnets, and after a few months the flaps buckled and the mice climbed in. The flaps flap even in a light wind. Not worth the price as far as I can tell. It would be better if they went back to their old version!
