I bought this backpack a year ago and it's still working. I teach kindergarten and 90% of the time the backpack is packed with: laptop, ipad, notepad, bluetooth speaker, textbook or two, notebook, phone, wallet, binders and more - if someone tries to carry it for me, they they think i got rocks in it. The straps, handles and pockets are still fully in place and solid, and the zippers work great. After a year of almost daily use, some of the edges were a bit dirty and worn, so I threw it in the washing machine. Yes. Washing machine. Probably not recommended by Bixbee, but a quick gentle cycle (no drying) brightened it up with no visible loss of shine and ZERO in-car shine. It's pink, shiny, perfectly functional and gets a few compliments every day. This will be my school bag until it gets too fun for a grown woman to have a shiny pink Sparkalicious backpack. This will definitely last until the start of the new school year in August.
