Tried a few beds for my Labrador/Weimariner mix. The result was mostly the same, a mess when refueling after a few days. My wife and I resorted to cheap rug for a while when it started systematically destroying pet beds. My dog took to this bed well. He immediately settled into it and didn't pull it out of the kennel like previous dog beds. After about 3-4 weeks I noticed that he managed to make a few small holes in the outer layer of the couch but not completely ripped it out like previous beds had. I would definitely recommend this product, it's a good price and so far it has seemed to hold up to my dog's abuse.
