🐾 Comfortable and Stylish: Petmate 26548 Pet Bed in Green Stripe, 27 x 26-in. Review

I was so happy to finally find a bed for my dogs that they don't want or can't chew. This is not a bed. In 30 minutes my 2 year old chewed two holes in it. When I gave the other bed to my 9 month old daughter, she put holes in it almost immediately. These are not holes near the zipper (my dogs unzipped them too) and not holes in the seams, but in the sleeping part itself. Definitely don't chew. Do not buy this product if you are looking for a non-chewable bed.

I had to take out 3/4 of the filling so my arthritic dog could even climb on it. The chew stability factor means that it has a very smooth surface and slides all over the wooden floor which also makes it impossible for him to climb on. Not sure why they have such bad reviews. everyone complains that they are not chew resistant. The company never claimed this. even hard Orvis chewing beds have their limits. Tried a few beds for my Labrador/Weimariner mix. The result was mostly the same, a mess when refueling after a few days.
