I've had these lights for a little over a year now and wanted to provide an updated review of this product. First let me guess a few things. When I originally purchased this product, I was asked to give a "good" review and get a smart wall switch (which I declined). I told the company that I would give an "honest" review and if they sent me a smart wall switch I would do the same with it. With that in mind, here is an updated review of these lamps 1 year after purchase. Problems I encountered when receiving the bulbs: β’ The bulbs aren't the brightest I've seen and if you use color they are much, much dimmer than you might expect. If you don't use white it's hard to see. Another disadvantage is that this lamp only supports warm white light. There is no such thing as cold temporal illumination for white at all. Note, however, that this is a limitation of these lamps. β’ Lamp reset. So it seems these lights reset too easily. Although I have tried several devices already, I will say that they accidentally reset too many times and I need to fix them through my wifi. I'm telling you I don't turn the lights on and off, they just randomly reset at about the same time. β’ If attempting to set up via the app, you 'must' be connected to a 2.4GHz network to reconnect these lights to Wi-Fi after the reset. I'm using the band control and it's causing a problem connecting these lights to the wifi. I ended up having to set up a separate SSID on my router/access point using only 2.4GHz and use that to connect the lightbulb. This then allowed me to connect those devices to Wi-Fi. β’ The instructions are "tiny" and as much as I wish they were bigger, they were a bit generic. I'm a techie, so I'm good at stuff like this without much help. Basically, download the Smart Living app from the app store for your devices and then follow the on-screen instructions. Advantages: β’ Google Home and ITTT are available for these lamps. β’ Works 1 year after purchase, which is more than I can say for most. ordinary LED bulbs that I used before I got smart. Cons: β’ Colors are not as bright as I would like compared to white. I was expecting this in advance from other reviews and maybe it's just a smart LED bulb but I'm not sure as it's all I've ever used and I have nothing to compare it to. β’ It's only for me or people. like me. I want the white to be close to daylight (cool white) and not the soft (warm) white that these bulbs offer. So I'm a bit saddened by Google Home's ability to support built-in scenes. I wish there was a way to get this to work. May I suggest this to others? β’ Yes, when all is said and done, the bulb will do as it says, just be bright and maintain a cool, white light.
