We were adding a baby to our nanny stock so we needed an extra bed to sleep in. I wanted something small that could be easily put away at the end of the day and this is perfect for our needs. We use this in toddler mode and it's like box and play. The mattress topper is actually thicker than my 4MOMs Breeze mattress but sits lower to the floor. You can put my little one in and he can come out through the small zippered door when bedtime is over. However, for a small baby who cannot crawl/walk, it is too far down and back, and if the baby is not pushing on all fours, I recommend using the carrycot mode for as long as possible, your back will thank you! You can see the sleeping space is quite spacious, the kid in the picture is 33 inches tall and weighs 24 pounds with enough space to take a nap. It only takes a few minutes to return to bassinet mode...simply remove the mattress and close the bottom mesh, then pull the mattress back up, voila, bassinet mode. We don't use a canopy, I find it unnecessary for indoor use, but some people might like it for shade. A battery that is not included, for the price I think it should be. We don't use it as we use toddler mode and since it doesn't have a battery I couldn't test the vibration. For storage, it folds in the middle by pressing the buttons located in the middle. plastic parts. Very easy to fold and put away, much easier than pack and play. It folds up pretty thin (see my photo) and I can slide it right behind the sofa so it's out of the way! This is the perfect size for my needs. It's convenient for traveling, takes up less space than a backpack and a game, and it's really light, I can easily carry it in one hand and my little one in the other. All in all I think this is a quality item that should last from birth to early age depending on how big your baby is as the toddler bed isn't as roomy as a standard pack and play! It is easy to use and great for storing in a closet, under a bed, etc. The legs can be easily removed to make it even more compact and it comes with a carrying case. I think the price is a bit high if you just want to use it as a baby seat OR bassinet, but if you're going to use it from birth it's a good alternative to buying a bassinet, backpack and games.
