Didn't work in Zoom

The webcam worked fine in Skype, but when I tried to use it in Zoom the image didn't stabilize - the screen kept cracking. There might be a solution, but I didn't want to waste time looking for it because even in Skype, the frame rate was terrible - no better than my ten-year-old webcam.
