Review on Chemical Guys CWS_104_16 Heavy Shampoo by Vincent Blitz

YouTube magic shows how easy it is to get rid of bugs. Although it will wipe away most dead bugs when sprayed, as will a damp sponge. So much and so much. So I pressure washed the bugs first and then did another test. I sprayed it on and let it sit, then washed it off with car wash soapy water. The side that was not sprayed did the same. The results were the same again. Then I tried again and used a microfiber glove on both sides and this time the side treated with their product was about 20% better. However, all the bug innards and goo were on both sides of the car. I diluted the spot spray as shown in the video by adding about 1 ounce to a 32 ounce spray bottle. Nothing with it. So I added another 1 ounce. Nothing yet. So I added another 5 ounces and that's when I got the best results but still gut bugs and gooey. They have many different ratios, so nothing consistent. I ended up with about 60% water and 40% chemicals in an almost 2:1 ratio and it wasn't clean. Using chemicals that cost nearly $6 for a wash and still fail is just not worth the hassle or money. Try something else, lots of elbow grease and soap and bug mitts work just as well.
