The review is for the WIMAXIT 14" Touch Screen Portable Monitor. I have several of these portable monitors but this one is the smallest of them all. NOTE. There is NO MANUAL in the box. Because I have several of these, I knew how You can work with the menus in this monitor but it shouldn't be. Turn on the guide next time. Get rid of it. Thing is pretty good for what it is. Lightweight, very portable monitor. The stand that comes with it which attaches to the monitor is a win. This item is very light! There is NO power button, just plug it into a power source and it turns on. I connected my Samsung phone to it and the Samsung Dex started up right away , just like the monitor, no external power required. Full touchscreen. Didn't have to fiddle with anything. I was also able to adjust brightness via the shaky menu system via the moni's side controls maximize tor. such a pain A very small Shift key and an Enter key above it. Not very good, so I'm deducting a star for the lack of instructions and the difficulty in accessing and managing the menu system. Image quality is good but not fantastic. This is a 1920x1080 monitor, 4K doesn't exist here. My Samsung phone displays a full HD image on the monitor and the videos look fine. Cables included: USB-C to USB-C, Full HDMI to Mini-HDMI, Ultra Small Power Bank with USB to USB-C cable for power delivery. As long as your source like your phone or laptop has enough power, you don't need an external source to power your monitor. I connected a Nintendo Switch but although I had an image for a second it wasn't powerful enough to run the monitor so I had to use an external power supply. You can connect the USB-C port to power or video input. They both work, matte finish. I wish it had a glass front, but that would add weight and cost. Anyhow, this is a good price for a very lightweight portable monitor. Touch screen. You get a touchscreen when your device uses it. Samsung Dex works with the touch screen without any action. Connected to Surface Pro 8 in two ways. One with the included mini HDMI to full HDMI cable to a USB-C hub connected to Surface. Works well but no touchscreen as expected. You will need an external power supply when using this monitor's mini HDMI port, which is connected to one of the USB-C ports. The picture on this monitor was nice and clear. I then used the included USB-C to USB-C cable and plugged it directly into the Surface 8 Pro, everything worked as expected, no external power required, and the touchscreen worked right away. The picture is not bad. The price is good for what you get. The thing is really very light.
