Review on ๐Ÿช‘ Enhanced AmazonBasics Gray Standing Desk Anti-Fatigue Solution by Justin Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Correct size and comfort

I have worn down the surface of a much lighter anti-fatigue mat I found at my work station in the office. It looked awful, so bad that I decided to buy it myself and got exactly what I wanted. But I didn't want a big, flexible mat or a small pillow that didn't have room to move. And I missed the leg bar from my old specialty bar table. So that seemed like a great solution and I'm happy to say it's all I wanted. The raised surfaces are just enough to provide a good range of standing posture options. There isn't a hemisphere in the center like some comparable mats, but I prefer that because I can stand to one side if I want to. But the thickness of the mat makes it comfortable even without using boards. I think this is the perfect size for a placemat. Large rugs are great when you're moving back and forth across a large table, but when you need to move them away, as you often do with a convertible sit-stand desk, they're very awkward to manage. To put the chair back up you need to put the mat on something or fold it or stand it up and find a place to put it so it doesn't shake off the dirt. This mat itself is easy to get out of the way as it is small enough to fit under a table in front of a chair and even offers comfort as a small footstool when seated which I never knew I wanted but actually did i like him Raised surfaces on each side are great for changing stances and avoiding a two-flat foot stance. It's comfortable but feels very durable so I'm not worried about it falling off the sneakers like my previous mat. There is one thing mentioned by other reviewers that I found helpful at times but inconvenient at other times. This feature is that the underside has a glossy finish and very little texture, so it tends to slide over industrial carpets like those found in many offices very easily. This comes in handy when I want to get it out of the way, but as you can imagine, it's best if the surfaces you're standing on are non-slip. As handy as it is, I'm going to put anti-slip tape on the bottom to prevent accidental slipping when stepping on it. It would have been nice to have this included but overall the design and quality is excellent value for money so I would fully recommend this placemat and would buy again.
