I ordered these glides because for some reason we had four chairs with metal legs. The metal legs were corroded, leaving black stains all over the tiled floor. I tried sticking felt pads on it but they wouldn't stick and then we had a STICKY black mass on the bottom which was amazing. Yesterday I received these sliding pads and put them on the chairs in the evening. The nails are smaller than the previous ones, so I followed the handy instructions I got from the seller, Dugan Hardware Systems, and stuck a toothpick into each hole, which I then snapped right off with the point of the hole. It was very easy to put the new pads on my chairs and they work great! I am very satisfied with both the overlays and the customer service from Dugan Hardware Systems. The note they sent after purchase was filled with very helpful information including how to avoid accidental sticking out of nails and hardwood scratches so be sure to read it. The briefs feel very heavy and the felt pads are securely attached (I tested them all). Order boldly!
