In general, the modem setup was relatively easy and without problems. The only snag I had was registering with my ISP, but that's more of an issue with them than an issue with the modem itself. Surprisingly, it looks like they didn't list it, but it's a DOCSIS 3.1 - and 3.0 modem, so it's backward compatible if needed. Thanks for that because it was necessary as my ISP says it uses 3.1 but is actually using 3.0 DOCSIS. Wi-Fi range is also acceptable, I can go anywhere in the house (about 1600 square feet) and still have at least 3 signal bands; This is way better than what we used before. The modem's interface is also simple but functional, which is what I expect from a modem. There are no flashy, over the top, complex and/or unintuitive controls. I've been using ASUS for many years (about 7 or 8 years), from monitors to computer parts, and I will continue to support them as they continue to put out quality products (mostly) compared to others, and their support is also very friendly. how helpful. Keep killing, ASUS!
