you sit as expected. He likes them a lot and I think they look good too. The material seems strong enough. The only complaint is the toddler-style elastic waist adjustment. The buttons on that strap irritated his bony thighs. Just cut off those buttons, pull out the elastic band and let it wear the band. The rest of the pants are good.
