1 star only for incomplete specifications. The ECT sensor works fine in many Ford/Mercury products from 91-2004. I bought based on another idiot buyer's claim that some of the plastic splints have a little minor shelf and it fits perfectly. (Now I can't return it) Problem: Ford products are one of the few that use a higher impedance sensor. .91-2004 Ford/Mercury Sensor = 28 kΩ - My car (and MANY others) 2 kΩ OF COURSE! This fixes the problem of high engine coolant temperature! With this fake sensor, it ALWAYS reads less than 1/10 (10%) of what it should read. Your first clue will be that the temperature sensor never goes above "0/cold". The part fits perfectly mechanically, BUT. . . Convince yourself before you buy.
