I had high hopes for these boots. My dog's color is purple so I wanted these specifically for the color and they looked very breathable. I tried both Large and X-Large. The left one is large and the right one is X-Large. They are very breathable and have mesh fabric. I thought this was necessary because dogs use their legs to keep cool and I didn't want them trapping heat. But they fit very poorly and they never fit my golden retriever's feet. The X-Large was too long and wide, and the Large was good in length but too wide in width. Also, the rubber outsole material is not durable and the padding on the top of the sole is not thick. And the embroidery looks messy. I won't try again, I'll go back and buy other shoes. I recommend the Petsmart Arcadia Trail boots. Surprisingly they are of very high quality!
