Set of 6 durable plastic tent pegs. Each stake is 9 inches long. A bet weighs 20g or less than 1 ounce. The entire set of 6 inserts weighs 4.2 ounces. The inserts have a square tip and can take a few hits. The tips are pointed but not sharp. Stakes have small balls on the ends of the retaining hooks; These balls snap into the middle of the other pins, allowing them to interlock as a unit for storage. The plastic is creamy white in daylight and bright yellow-green in the dark. The bets were made in China. I like these bets for the size and feel. They are long enough to work in the sand with a tent or sun canopy. Tether hooks do a good job of keeping the tent loops and cords secure. The lock feature is interesting, but if you usually carry bets in your pocket, the lock might not be important to you. What's amazing, however, is the glow-in-the-dark feature - it makes it a lot easier to walk around the tent at night. No more tripping over hidden bets! The glow-in-the-dark feature also makes it easier when you need to camp at night. I've found these to be a great replacement for the stakes I've lost from my camping tent over the years. They're just as light as the original metal poles that came with the tent, but they're a lot easier to find and better at holding the tent loops securely. Overall this is a great choice to replace tent poles or parasols.
