If you have a sealed transmission Toyota and need to check the ATF level after changing/flushing the fluid, THEN you should do so within a very specific temperature range. You can jumper procedure to specific OBD2 connectors and shift gears until the magic DRIVE light starts blinking etc. Forget it! You can easily program the XGauge codes into Scan Gauge 2 and it will show you the real-time ATF temperature. The codes are simple and available on the Scan Gauge 2 website. PS Follow Scan Gauge 2 to set it up, then program a new Xgauge code for ATF Temp (TFT Transmission Fluid Temp). Once programmed, you must follow the prompts to move it to the "home screen", making it easy to find and view the ATF (TFT) temperature.
