I got this as a cheaper replacement for an expensive electric brush I bought years ago when I had a Miele Kona (black Miele that sells in vacuum shops will) bought. The electric brush had constant problems with my long hair and pet hair on carpets and rugs until finally it needed a professional solution. Miele repair costs are too high so I just bought a cheaper replacement. It seems to handle hair and fur better than the more expensive motorized head, but it still struggles. However, it works as it should and the reset button works. If this head breaks too, next time I will buy another vacuum cleaner. The problem with the Miele is that the user can't pull out the roller and pull out the hair to continue vacuuming like I did with my old Kenmore canister. I had to watch a video on how to do it and buy a special tool to remove all those little screws to get to the roller. It was quite difficult and long. Then, as soon as I took the hair out of the curler and put it back together, the expensive nozzle stopped again. I recommend this cheaper replacement brush head over the more expensive backlit one as it works as intended. But I can't recommend Miele at all. The attachments, filters, the canister itself are all too expensive for what a vacuum can handle and not user friendly.
