Review on πŸ’Ό Compact and Sleek: Goodisory 0.6mm SECC Mini ITX Black Chassis (01) by Doug Small

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Super compact good for computer components

Excellent minimalist case. You need a Pico-ATX power supply. I built it on MSI itx motherboard with M2 SSD slot. Processor - Ryzen 5 3400g. The last picture shows how high the stock cooler sticks out, so you need a low profile CPU fan. The hard drive bracket is on the crossbar, so you can't use it if you're building something with active CPU cooling. I installed an M2 SSD (under the motherboard). There is also a very short PCI-E M2 adapter that I believe will fit into a PCI-E slot to accommodate another M2 SSD if needed. The 16GB RAM heatsinks seem to block airflow inside the case, so maybe buy a few without the aggressive heatsinks. After reassembling, idling and web browsing were fine, but turning on the game caused overheating. Installing a pair of narrow 40mm fans solved the problem (the CPU had an air dead spot in the corner, the case vents were not centered over the CPU, and the cross brace was blocking airflow. Blowing in fresh air where airflow was low Overall very happy with it, although wish it had more than 1 USB 2.0 port on the front (considering upgrading it to a USB 3.1 port).Very small footprint, especially when standing (top rack was included)

Pros
  • Keeping my fists
Cons
  • Not everything fits
