I have already bought these socks (color: black and grey) and have ordered more because I love them. I've read reviews that they don't "dry out" socks. I actually bought them to replace the bamboo dry socks that were chafing my feet so badly that I had sores after just one wear. These socks are made from a cotton blend - thick enough to be comfortable but not thick enough to be moisturizing in my experience. If I put my foot in a puddle now, yes, the sock will get wet again. It's cotton and it dries a little. But under normal wearing conditions, even walking to workouts, I never took off the sweat-soaked sock afterwards. The six pairs I bought last year hold up well and wash and dry easily. They have not stretched and show no signs of wear. I was a little hesitant to buy white because the gray and black have no blemishes, but I bought them anyway for color variety. These aren't exactly "not flashy" socks. If you look at my feet, you'll see I'm wearing socks, but they only last around the top of my sneakers. In fact I like it more than the lack of shows I've bought in the past as they tend to slip on my heels after a while. These socks stay in place. If you are looking for well made, durable cotton blend athletic socks, I would recommend these. I like them so much that I buy more.
