We try to use more LED bulbs for energy efficiency, but it can be difficult to find bulbs with a warmer light (yellowish light compared to white). The 2700 light seems to be the warmest light you can find in LEDs (above 3000 it gets too white/cold for us) so I think this bulb is a great option for a chandelier and where you don't want too bright want light. They can also dim, which is often hard to find, or have uneven performance for LED lights. Just make sure your switch supports LED dimming (we have Lutron switches with incandescent/halogen/LED dimming). I also love that it's an all-glass bulb that lets light shine in all directions. Many other LED options I've seen at Revain have plastic around the bottom half of the bulb and direct the light up and to the sides, not down.
