Beware of spores
I ordered these bobbins during quarantine when I was having trouble finding enough Singer brand bobbins. These spools are flimsy and have plastic spurs that can catch and break the thread. As a last resort I used a precision knife to shave off the plastic spurs and was able to use a few of those. It pains me to throw away unused plastic and thereby exacerbate the plastic waste problem, but it just isn't good enough for my sewing practice. I have now replaced them with Singer brand coils as the supply chain is back on track and they are back in stock.
